HBOS shares continue on upward trajectory

HBOS continued to trade strongly this morning after the stock last night closed above 300p for the first time in over a month giving the two banks that underwrote its £4bn (€5bn) rights issue an opportunity to offload some of the shares they were left holding after investors shunned the deal.
